Bioblack Community Enterprise is a community enterprise located at Ban That Khing Kang, No. 69 Moo 4, Phra That Khing Kang Sub-district, Chun District, Phayao Province, that produces high-value healthy food products from organic Phayao black rice. The enterprise was established by a group of farmers in January 2022 with the goal of promoting and supporting the community economy, conserving and developing organic Phayao black rice cultivation, and building a model community for sustainable development. Bioblack Community Enterprise has applied the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (3 loops, 2 conditions) to ensure the sustainability and benefit of the community.
The enterprise has opened a factory at the same address and has been certified for GMP production standards by the Phayao Provincial Public Health Office in May 2022, and FDA certification was received from the Food and Drug Administration the following month. In addition, Bioblack Community Enterprise has partnered with Kinnorn Co., Ltd., an expert in exporting rice products abroad with its own international brand of rice products (POHSRI®), to increase competitiveness. Kinnorn Co., Ltd. operates in the marketing and sales section both domestically and internationally, making Bioblack Community Enterprise products available to customers worldwide.

KEY PURPOSES
Theeranan, also known as Tuanyee, is the co-founder of Bioblack and serves as the President of Bioblack Community Enterprise. Born and raised in Tambol Prathat-King Khaeng, Chun, Phayao, North of Thailand, Tuanyee's upbringing in a family of rice farmers instilled in him a deep appreciation for the genuine quality and passion for Khao Kam (black sticky rice).
With a background in Fine Art from Poh-Chang Academy of Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, and an MBA from Graduate School of Commerce, Burapha University, Tuanyee gained valuable knowledge and skills that enabled him to understand the challenges faced by his fellow rice farmers.
Motivated by the struggles of rice farmers in his community due to low selling prices, Tuanyee was inspired to find a solution that would add value to their rice, ensuring their sustainability for future generations.
Embracing the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) he learned at Por Laew Dee for export by DITP, Tuanyee officially registered BioblackTM as the brand for Phayao GI black rice. In 2022, he established Bioblack Community Enterprise, assuming the role of Chairperson to drive the business in collaboration with the farmers in his community.

His goal is to showcase the rice as a high-value ingredient, not only for its traditional use in sticky rice but also for creating a range of innovative and sought-after food products, as well as potential applications in cosmetics. By leveraging the unique qualities and cultural significance of Phayao black rice, Tuanyee aims to popularize it globally and establish its position as a highly desirable and versatile commodity.
